Cuore (Heart): An Italian Schoolboy's Journal

When it was published in 1886, this book had a huge success and after a few
months, about forty editions were printed. It became a classic in the
Italian literature for children. The story represents values that are
taught even today, such as solidarity, honesty, goodness etc. It also
represents a fragmented Italy divided in social classes. In a general way,
this is a funny book, full of adventures and surprises, with a few
imaginary events.
