The Fall of the Black Wolf

Olu d'or was nearing the completion of his long journey southward, to call the elf clans and the Four Children of the Earth to his cause in the upcoming war against the evil reign of the she-demon Malega. Her new Black Councilor had hunted him down the entire way with mercenaries and demons. The Elf Clans had aided him in the battles and had promised to march with the Seventh Hand in the final war against evil.

The Prophecy of the Gray Elves destined the Seventh Hand to lead the army of ancient races northward to defend the Earth from evil and to annihilate the she-demon. Never having been a leader, Olu d'or could not see himself in this role. Furthermore, to destroy the evil completely, he would have to face and defeat Malega in her realm in the Void. The thought of this task tormented him. He did not see how he could fulfill his destiny.

From a vision, he had seen that he would soon wear his father's ring, a symbol of the bond between Malega and her Black Councilor. Corin had disposed of it in the Gray Forest, but the ring had been taken and was now in the possession of the new Black Councilor. Though he did not know how he would take it from his enemy's hand, Olu d'or had seen himself wearing this ring while falling and drowning in darkness. He knew his death was near. What he did not know was that Malega was trying to capture him to make him her new Black King.
